Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Ultracodeen Pty Ltd (ABN 62 148 573 921, "Ultracodeen", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information in connection with the services offered through ultracodeen.com. We are bound by the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

1. Information we collect

We collect personal information you provide directly to us when you subscribe to our newsletter, request an eligibility check or contact our team. This typically includes your full name, email address, postcode, household composition and information relevant to assessing your eligibility for Australian government programs. We also collect limited technical information (such as IP address, device type and pages viewed) through cookies and similar technologies, as described in our Cookie Policy.

2. How we use your information

We use your personal information to: (a) reply to enquiries and provide the services you have requested; (b) assess which Australian government payments, tax offsets and grants you may be eligible for in 2026; (c) send you the Ultracodeen newsletter where you have consented; (d) improve the ultracodeen.com website and our service; and (e) comply with our legal obligations under Australian law.

3. Legal basis and consent

Where we rely on your consent (for example, to send you marketing emails), you may withdraw that consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email, or by writing to hello@ultracodeen.com. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

4. Disclosure of your information

We do not sell your personal information. We disclose your information only to trusted service providers that help us operate our service (for example, secure email, cloud hosting and analytics providers), each of which is contractually bound to protect your information. Where required by law, we may disclose information to Australian authorities, including the Australian Taxation Office or Services Australia.

5. Overseas disclosures

Some of our service providers may store data outside Australia, typically in the European Union or the United States. Before disclosing information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles your data in a way consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

6. Security and retention

We apply industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including TLS encryption in transit, access controls and regular security reviews. We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the service, comply with tax and record-keeping laws, and resolve any disputes.

7. Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) you may request access to, and correction of, the personal information we hold about you. You may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles.
